New Delhi [India]Nov 7 (ANI/GPRC) – Keto India was launched in 2019 by Sahil Pruthi following an intense two-year research period investigating the benefits of nutrition and supplementation on weight loss and disease management related to lifestyle.
Now the company is renaming itself Livofy to reflect its broader focus. The rebranding is occurring concurrently with a boost in investment the company has received from various outlets that have seen the potential for profit and growth in its unique approach to healthcare.
The company was born out of the need to find non-intrusive treatments for modern lifestyle based health problems. Sahil had focused on the ketogenic diet as the main approach to combat problems like weight loss, hypothyroidism, PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome), diabetes, etc. .
The company is based on a sophisticated AI protocol that provides users with a personalized care protocol taking into account their health history, food preferences and body parameters. The result is a complete nutrition and supplement plan specifically curated to impact the health concerns of each individual client.
Sahil introduced his brand on Shark Tank India, seeking investment and mentorship, and though he was offered an investment of INR 1.6 crore in exchange for 16% of the company’s shares. The offer, made to ‘genuine and intelligent founders’ as one of the investors put it, was collectively from four Sharks, Ashneer Grover, MD of Bharat Pe, Peyush Bansal, CEO of Lenskart, Namita Thapar, ED of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, and Aman Gupta. , CMO of BoAt.
Although it was a genuinely lucrative opportunity, Sahil ultimately decided to give it up and stick to his own vision and assessment of the company. But one piece of advice he withheld from the Sharks was the suggestion to rebrand him from their unit lineup to the Keto diet.
Sahil’s appearance on Shark Tank India helped promote his product and service to a wider range of customers and investors, and he was soon inundated with offers more in line with his ideas. The company was chosen by emerging investors such as Ivy Growth Partners and Amity Technology Incubator, who helped expand the repertoire of services provided and develop a more engaged interface and user experience. Furthermore, Livofy (formerly Keto India) also attracted multiple investors who poured money into the company.
Amit Singhal (Founding Partner, Fluid Ventures), Manish Aggarwal (Managing Partner, Real Time Angel Fund), Nitin Gupta (Founder of Etherea) along with a network of other angel investors, Atul and Ashish Jain of Rosin Jewels joined and other individuals. High net worth influencers like Mayyank Jain and Gauri Chachad also endorsed the company and helped it transition from Keto India to Livofy with a total of $550,000 raised in funds.
Livofy has also been selected as part of the coveted Stanford Seed Program.
Livofy has a network of advisors including Dr. Anuj Dhariwal (Former Bain, Bayer), Prabhat Gupta (Founder, Former CTO of Travel Triangle), Rahul Rosha (Founder Novique Health) and Kapel Malhotra (Founder, Total Solutions) who advise the company in all technology, product, growth, health and strategy.
Livofy as a brand had already been part of the general Keto India umbrella for a while, aimed at customers who wanted to go beyond the ketogenic diet. Sahil soon realized that his own vision for the company also exceeded the limits of that specific diet and decided to change his name entirely to Livofy.
The term Livofy is an abbreviation for the phrase Live For Yourself. As a philosophy, it reflects what the brand has always stood for, a reclaiming of our lives from the clutches of the problems that come with embracing the pace and practices of a modern urban lifestyle.
During her research on nutrition, Sahil Pruthi realized that dietary control was not simply about the number of calories consumed with each serving, but also about the micro and macro nutrients contained in foods that impact the body at a healthy level. cellular and hormonal. Since its inception, the company has served more than 10,000 customers, and the insights they gained from customers pointed to the demand for an integrated personalized approach, rather than simple dietary plans.
Therefore, the new Livofy brand is focused on providing a more holistic lifestyle review for its clients, identifying and addressing problem areas unique to each person with the help of health coaches and nutritionists through diet, supplementation and testing. personalized. The target of today’s lifestyle diseases such as PCOS, obesity, thyroid, diabetes and hypertension stands firm as Livofy aims to reduce and eradicate their debilitating effects on the world’s population.
Sahil and his team are motivated by the famous quote: a healthy person has a thousand wishes, a sick person only has one. Livofy is here to make sure that people can live healthy lives, free from chronic pain and ailments, and dream and live all their thousand wishes.
